Having studied fashion design in Europe, she brought exciting new ideas to a leading St. Louis sports apparel company where she quickly rose to head designer. But she saw an opportunity in another area. She wanted to focus her talents and energy on creating unique new uniform designs for a few specific industries.
That's how Helga Designs was born. The company's original emphasis was on designing and producing uniforms for the travel and hospitality industries. This prepared the company to extend its experience to the casino market to meet its rapid growth in the early '90s.
Today, Helga Designs is the only design firm in the country that is dedicated exclusively to casinos and associated hospitality organizations. It is also the only design firm serving this industry that is headed by a professional designer.
